Out of Body Orchestra is a orchestra of about 16 musicians brought together by Charles Hayward. Each performance has a different guest sololist.

A fouth performance is being planned to happen sometime soon.

Consists of four musicians,
Charles Hayward (percussion, keyboard, melodica, chordophones),
Ashleigh Marsh (Keyboard, Soprano Saxophone),
John Edwards (Double bass and
Jackie Grant (Tenor Banjo, squeeze box).
First brought together for a live performance 0n January 22nd 2001
A recording of Gradual called 'live at the Bonnington' is available.
