 Ten week group Courses (NEXT COURSES START JANUARY 2010)

I run two courses, a beginners course and an Improvers course.
Courses start September, January and April and each one lasts for 10 weeks.

The classes are small with no more than 4 people per course.
Each ten week group course costs just  £70 for the whole course.
All courses take place in Brockley, SE4 in the borough of Lewisham..

Beginners Course - Thursday evenings 8.20pm - 9.30pm

If you are a total beginner having never touched a guitar before then this is the courses for you.

You will learn to accompany songs using simple strumming and fingerpicking,
You will also learn about music theory on the course.

If you do not have a guitar I can loan you one for the duration of the course. 
I can also advise you on where to buy a guitar and the type of guitar to buy. 


Improvers Course - Thursday evenings 7.00pm - 8.10pm

If you have be playing the guitar for months or years and seem to be stuck in a rut I can help you out of the rut.

On this course you will learn about bar chords,  inversions of chords, plus techniques and music theory to help move your musicianship and playing to the next level.

In the past we have looked at fingerpicking, modes, scales, reading rhythms, ear training, blues.
